Whats the best place you shop for food? We tend to go to Scolaries since it's right next to us, but in my experience Winco is the best cheapest place. they have a bulk generic food area where you can buy stuff by weight rather than pre-packaging, which is rather awesome since it's usually always a better deal than the brand-name stuff.

Keep in mind that Scolari's is literally THE MOST EXPENSIVE place in town to buy food, by a large margin. Avoid buying food there as much as possible.

I would except..... I don't have a car ;_______; And everything else is far enough away that bulk shopping anywhere else is almost impossible.

you all know the best place to shop for food is at a truck on the side of the road selling fruit........ or a dumpster behind a Sizzler...

Smith's is my favorite. They usually have really good deals, even more so than Winco, i.e., one gallon of milk is $2.19 right now at my Smith's and $2.39 at Winco.

Smiths has okay deals on produce, but a lot of their dry/canned/frozen goods seem to be a bit inflated. Not like Scolari's, but still a bit too much for my taste.
